Training Track & Retreat Center close to Eugene's Hayward Field

40 miles west of University of Oregon's famous Hayward Field, along the picturesque McKenzie River, sits a brand new, top notch Running Track.  Reportedly the surface of the track is just a step below the prized Hayward Field surface at a cost of over $250,000.  This million dollar world class track is available for your track team to come and train on - to run a track camp / retreat.

Full track equipment is available including hurdles, vaulting safety mats, etc.   

This gorgeous new track sits at about 1000 ft elevation and is above the valley floor, usually sporting sunshine.  The clean fresh air is also missing the large pollen counts that also can choke the valley floor during peak pollen seasons. 

The McKenzie Community Track and Field is about half a mile from us.  

In addition, we have miles of gorgeous terrain for Cross Country training.  In fact, Olympian and former UO track star Gaylen Rupp used to be a regular fixture up here while at UO and prior to the last Olympic games.

The McKenzie River Mountain Resort offers lodging for up to 95 people.  Perfect for your track or cross country team.  We have indoor meeting space and can provide catered meals.  If you prefer, you may use our large community kitchen to prepare your own meals and reduce your costs. 

Our rates are very competetive and the useage fees for the track are very reasonable.
